I'm starting a personal campaign begining January 1, 2010 to be "BROKE NO MORE!" and I encourage you to do the same! But when you do, be sure to teach someone else, especially the children, how to as well!
Step one on our journey...develop your budget! List your monthly income and your expenses. Don't forget to factor in donations and a little "mad money" for yourself. If you need a budget worksheet, Google it or create your own. In order for this to work, you've gotta STICK TO IT! Do not devia…

According to recent single parent statistics, there are more than 13 million single parent households in the United States. And when you mention single parents, one of the first things many think about is child support!
With the growth of the internet and entertainment/gossip websites and tv programs, we know much more about celebrities' and public figures' lives. And their child support situation is always a hot topic with us.
I'm not sure what the actual stats are, but I do know a lot of sin…

“God’s grace has lifted you up, stood you on your feet…placed you on a road, given you a destination…filled you with a purpose… provided you with a hope…and guaranteed you a future!”

May this weekend renew your mind, body, and soul in ways so rich that they cannot be counted, but only understood by you and your heavenly Maker.

A Marriage Full of Trust -To trust another person is to count them as a person loves the truth. Trust is the foundation of a marriage, and love is the home where we find shelter and warmth. Think on these things as you ponder the area of trust in your marriage.
1. A marriage without trust is an empty well - it promises satisfaction but never delivers.
2. Trust clears away all the boulders and stumps that would keep one's field from being faithful.
3. Trust is not a byproduct of love; it does not…

No matter how old you get, you are always being "reborn". You will have more than one transitional period in your life...I think I've reached my second, no make that my third...and I'm sure there are many more to come
What I am attempting to get under my belt is to take control of the transition not to let it control you. That may be your attitude, your outlook, etc.
They say God won't put you through more than you can bare...sometimes I question that, but apparently I'm still standing for a r…

.HPV is passed from person to person by contact.
An infected woman can pass the virus to her male partner. He can pass it to another woman. HPV causes warts of the genitals. Some of these can develop cancer.
There are different types of HPV. The HPV Vaccine prevents ONLY some type of HPV
Some of the HPV types NOT covered by the vaccine can cause cancer, so women still need annual Pap Smears...

I am in love with Synetk. I drive a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban. Brand new the truck would get 14 miles per gallon. After 200,000 miles and endless abuse, I get 8 miles per gallon . As a freelance videographer, I travel a lot and gas was becoming a real problem. I started to think about bu…

Your supervisor won't take your calls or answer your e-mails
They have you pre-sign your severance agreement at orientation
People you haven't met keep coming by your office with measuring tape
Your evaluation starts out with, "We've noticed..."
They only order 50 business cards for you from VistaPrint
Your HR person asks, "So, what would you do if you weren't working here? Do you have a plan B?"
There's still blood stai…

Wanna give a gift that keeps on giving? Instead of buying toys, games, etc., think about buying the people you love United States Savings Bonds. Although the bonds do not grow real aggressively, they earn for a period of 30 years - oftentimes at a higher interest rate than most traditional savings accounts. Plus the bond is double the face value. So, $25 will buy you a $50 savings bond (although it wont be worth $50 yet). I recommend that people with small children purchase the bonds monthly. By…

Everywhere you turn someone says- Don’t worry, be happy or You’re too blessed to stressed. Well it is time to really say how you feel-I’m working on overload or I just can’t take anymore. In today’s world, most women are searching for balance in their lives. We work really hard to meet the demands of our families and careers. We try to remember to include ourselves and attempt to maintain some type of balance in our mental and physical health. While there a number of women who find they are able…

Very long day at the hospital I was on-call---to much death for one day. So I've learned when my heart is empty, to fill it with happy memories that can help me find my smile.
I will enjoy Michael Jackson's music.
I will remember Farrah's boldness in facing death.
Memories such as these are the legacy of humankind's love.

This poem sums up everything that I know about being a daddy’s girl.
What A Dad Will Do For His Daughter by Cheryl D'Aprix
What a Dad will do for his daughter is rock his sick baby girl

letting him know the night of worry is over.
He will take her small hand in his and walk slowly as she takes her first
walk to the ice cream shop to share a cone full of heaven on earth.
He will sip from the tiny tea cup she has set in front of him
and in harmony with t…
